Good to have this entry. But I wonder if it should be renamed as "Newbury Symphony Orchestra", as that's the name it is known as today, and the most likely thing people would look for - I can see there's a redirect in place. Sfjohna (talk) 06:47, 30 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your message.
Whilst we are now called the Newbury Symphony Orchestra, this specific page is mostly about its predecessor, the Newbury Amateur Orchestral Union. The main reason for this is that we're slowly approaching our 150th anniversary, and so we're boosting our history towards this milestone anniversary. Either way all of the current information can be found on our website, if you'd be interested in knowing more about the Newbury Symphony Orchestra.
