| WARNING: ACTIVE ARBITRATION REMEDIES The article Nagorno-Karabakh is currently subject to active arbitration remedies, as laid out during a 2007 Arbitration case. One-sided intro
editThe intro mentions Armenian conflictuous acts, but nothing on the Azerbaijani side. It would be more neutral to describe the (purported) reasons for those Armenian acts, labelling disputed "facts" as such where needed. That would at least remove the current impression of repeated sudden unprovoked aggression from one side against a purely victim peaceful other side. 178.237.74.251 (talk) 10:49, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
Claims with citations needed allowed up since September 2023
editIn the "History" section under the "War and secession" subsection, the claim that "On 20 February 1988, 2 Azeri girls were raped in Stepanakert. This caused widespread outrage in the Azeri town of Aghdam." has been tagged with "Citation needed" since September 2023. No credible and acceptable sources have been provided for over a year. Remove the claim that "On 20 February 1988, 2 Azeri girls were raped in Stepanakert. This caused widespread outrage in the Azeri town of Aghdam." It's time to take this claim out of the article because the claim that two Azerbaijani girls were raped in Stepanakert appears in some Azerbaijani sources, but no independent, verifiable accounts from international organizations, journalists, or human rights groups have confirmed this. Soviet authorities, who were still in control at the time, never publicly reported such an incident. Reports of violence, kidnappings, and clashes between Armenians and Azerbaijanis did occur in the following weeks, but the rape claim lacks any reliable verification. Take out this claim to improve this article. Sun-summer-wave (talk) 13:52, 27 February 2025 (UTC)

editThe link to the Swedish Wikipedia article appears broken, and I don't know how to fix it. Please help. Martin Rundkvist (talk) 09:15, 15 November 2025 (UTC)
"Demographics" section needs to be updated
editWhy does the "Demographics" section neglect to explain what the demographics are as of 2026 (although this information is discussed in the last paragraph of the opening section of this article)? That's not very encyclopedic. What is the current percentage of people of Azerbaijani and Armenian heritage? Are there still some people of Armenian heritage living in Nagorno-Karabakh, and, if so, how many? ~2026-90336-1 (talk) 03:31, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
- Typically, the answer to "why hasn't [x] been done" is "because no one's done it." Best not to assume motive; none of us are being paid to do this. --Golbez (talk) 22:25, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
