Lewd act?

edit

The article states that the killer was charged with a lewd act with a child, yet there is no other mention of this in the article. Also, the article states that the victim was killed "promptly" after the police encounter, which would indicate little possiblity of lewd activity. Can we get a reference or clarification? Nirvana's song "Polly" references this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:7:6880:6AA:AC28:8486:B990:690E (talk) 22:44, 2 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

The Nirvana song “Polly” is unrelated to this crime and its victim. Early incarnations of the song were recorded no later than 1988, and the studio version was included in the original release of Nirvana’s Nevermind on 24 September 1991. The recording dates for Nevermind ended in June 1991 which is at least 27 months (2 yrs. 3 mths.) prior to Klaas’ kidnapping and murder on 1 October 1993.
