This article received some coverage as it is unique in a funny way. It is also directly related to Psychrolutes microporos. That 2011 Start-class article could use some expansion. This article will likely remain a glorified permanent stub.The "Popularity" section of Psychrolutes microporos is almost as large as this entire stub.
It is not all about creating many new articles any more. Wikipedia's worldwide presence is staggering so we can build better articles and not focus on creating ton's of stub articles or media joke articles. Several years after the finding someone thought the fish was so ugly it deserved mention and this blossomed for a minute. :I don't think merge the two as it would not diminish "Mr Blobby". -- Otr500 (talk) 12:28, 22 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
