Project wikify February 2011
editI updated this article for project:wikify. Although I was able to bring it closer to standard there is still alot that needs to be done here outside the scope of the project (and my ability). additional references is a big one, this article is copied in large chunks from the only reference listed. although the reference is public domain (I dont see any copyright violations), there needs to be additional corroborating sources for the information. There are also a fair number of geographic locations as well as political and commerical organizations mentioned that have no corrisponding wikipedia page. I have at this time wikilinked them, so there are a fair number of redlinks showing as most of them are completely outside my scope of knowledge to generate an article for. It would be my recommendation to the people working with project:Bolivia that this article's importance be increased. Will (talk) 17:43, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

Quechusa? or Quechisla?
editWe have a sentence that says, "Comibol's mining and service companies were restructured into five autonomous mining subsidiaries (in Oruro, La Paz, Potosí, Quechusa and Oriente.)" The problem is that there does not seem to be a city, town, department, or region in Bolivia called "Quechusa." I've checked maps and searched online and there's no such place. It's probable that this is a typo for "Quechisla", an important mining area in the south of Potosí Department that is now part of the Atocha-Quechisla mining district. There are a number of references to the "mines of Quechisla" in various articles throughout Wikipedia. Because the typo must have occured in some reliable source used by Wikipedia, this non-existent place is now mentioned on websites all over the WWW that simply copy and paste our text.
