Orphaned references in Mike Thompson (California politician)
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Mike Thompson (California politician)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 04:17, 9 December 2022 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: moved. Consensus among most users that the California politician's pageview lead was sufficient to constitute a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. (closed by non-admin page mover) ModernDayTrilobite (talk • contribs) 20:48, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
Mike Thompson (California politician) → Mike Thompson – WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Pageviews Analysis shows that this Mike Thompson has the highest traffic out of all available Mike Thompson's. Jeffrey34555 (talk) 04:52, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
- Support but note that it's not enough for the page to have the highest traffic out of all available Mike Thompson's, it needs to have higher traffic than all others taken together... which is exactly what the analysis shows. Andrewa (talk) 05:30, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Frost 07:16, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose. No primary topic by long-term significance. Serving American politicians are not automatically primary topic just because they have more pageviews. -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:11, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
