editThe article claims that Michael II was Jewish, as does his son's article, Theophilos (emperor). The author of the source is a medical doctor and researcher, not a historian, Byzantine studies scholar, or Judaic studies scholar. It seems his only position of authority is being Jewish.[1]
I searched for biographies and the Encyclopedia Britannica to back-up the claim, but found nothing.[2][3][4] R. J. Dockery (talk) 19:27, 22 July 2024 (UTC)
