McDowell High School → McDowell High School (Pennsylvania) – Per WP:PRECISE and WP:PRIMARYTOPIC.
The phrase "McDowell High School" would have different meanings in different places:

If you're in North Carolina, it would automatically be McDowell High School (Marion, North Carolina)
If you're in western Pennsylvania, it would automatically be McDowell High School

This one is a bit bigger and a bit older, but I don't think it reaches WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for a global encyclopedia. The current naming format is likely because one article was created 3 months before the other in 2007. If this passes, the current name could then be used as a disambiguation page which would now have a third entry. Totally open to alternative parenthetical disambiguation but "(Millcreek Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania)" seemed like a mouthful. - RevelationDirect (talk) 16:37, 3 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
