Death by arthritis?

edit

I removed the "died from arthritis" from the death section, even though there are 2 refs (behind paywalls). I've just never heard of anybody dying from arthritis. And there is nothing in our articles on arthritis or septic arthritis that would suggest that folks die of this disease. I believe it was included either by vandalism or by a very old conception of the disease. He died in the 1930s. @Doc James: just in case. Smallbones(smalltalk) 16:32, 16 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Relation to RT Crane

edit

I believe Richard Teller Crane (1832-1912), the founder of the Crane Company, was the cousin of Martin A. Ryerson, not his nephew. He was the nephew of Martin L. Ryerson (1818-1887). According to Crane's autobiography, he arrived in Chicago as a young man in 1855, when Martin L. Ryerson was already an established lumber dealer. Crane set up his first shop with help from his uncle. ~2026-30679-88 (talk) 19:53, 21 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
