"Maroboduus" is probably a Latinized variant of the Germanic name Marobod, Marbod, a compound name composed of the elements mar (Gundo-mar, Valde-mar, Godo-mar, etc.) and bod, bad (Bad-eric, Bodo, Bodo-ald).--88.178.38.7 (talk) 23:23, 5 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
