Notability

edit

Despite being a household name among Latin speakers there seems to little background information on her in English, that is available online. However there might be more in Spanish.

possible sources:

These aren't great sources for proving notability - one is a bog, and the other are about events. Are there newspaper articles, magazine articles, or books published about her?--CaroleHenson (talk) 21:07, 12 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
Actually while those do not really qualify as sources (notice the possible attribute), they nevertheless do clearly suggest notability at this point.--Kmhkmh (talk) 14:55, 13 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
According to linked articles, she had a number one single (I Know (You Don't Love Me No More)) on the Billboard Latin charts in 1988, and the number 9 Latin song ("Tu Dama de Hierro") for all of 1987. She then also had a number 1 Latin album in 2009, and she was nominated for a Latin Billboard Music Award in 2010. Accordingly, she almost certainly qualifies under WP:MUSIC, and I have no doubt that there are good sources our there, though they may be in Spanish.--Mojo Hand (talk) 16:33, 13 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
I was not able to find articles other than event promotions such as newspaper, magazine, or books published about her. user:TuesdayBinder  Preceding undated comment added 18:58, 17 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

This BLP is largely unsourced and contains peacock language and subjective claims. Even if those claims exist, they need Wikipedia:Reliable sources and to be written from a neutral point of view. Tagged for further improvement. Retro music11 (talk) 17:09, 9 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Noting that the discography is huge and not collected properly, should it bo condesned into just the titles of the album like other artists? Henrythe9 (talk) 21:03, 28 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
