Attempting to interpret the original Answers.com page phrase, "which was received with critical disinterest", which got turned into "had a very critical reception" - not very comprehensibly. Can't quite understand either - the 3rd symphony was reviewed impartially, apparently, according to the author at answers.com. ... Well, good. Not very interesting fact, but good.
