Wondering how to edit this State Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. states standards might help.

I noticed the following error. Now, it's fairly easy to fix the link to Treaty of Fontainebleau (1762). But, I wasn't sure the reason why 1763 is displayed in visible text (using a pipe), when 1762 is in the title of the target.

The rest of Louisiana became a colony of Spain after the Seven Years' War by the Treaty of Fontainebleau of 1763.

Outdated claim on professional sports teams

edit

The page claims that Louisiana is the least populated state with two professional sports teams from the ‘big four’ (MLB,NBA, NFL, NHL). Since the acquisition of the Arizona Coyotes (and subsequent rebrand to the Utah Hockey Club), the claim now belongs to Utah, a less-populated state than Louisiana. Louisiana's Largest Cities

edit

The table of the largest cities by population in Louisiana is incorrect. For example, it omits Metarie, which would be in the top cities by population in the 2020 census. Also, Since the 2020 census, the city of Saint George was incorporated and has a population that would also warrant a spot in the top population cities. 149.20.201.200 (talk) 15:36, 19 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
