• Wabasha United Church of Christ, Oldest Protestant congregation, founded in 1857 (Congregational)
• First Presbyterian Church (Stillwater, Minnesota), oldest Presbyterian congregation, founded December 8, 1849.

This implies the oldest Presbyterian congregation was founded before the oldest Protestant congregation, but Presbyterians are Protestants. Jonathunder (talk) 21:47, 15 July 2014 (UTC)

St. Francis Xavier in Maryland

I stumbled across this site, and was a little surprised to see that St. Francis Xavier church in Newtowne Neck, Maryland was not on the list. Parishioners (of which I am one) claim it is the oldest catholic church from the original 13 colonies. The church traces its origin to a Jesuit mission founded in 1640; the current church was built in 1731. This is actually the second church used by the parish; the first church was built in 1662, fell into disuse in the years following the 1689 Protestant Revolution, and the second church was built about a half-mile south of the original site in 1731. This second church has been operating since that time, and is still in use today. Gdlong (talk) 07:07, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

1706 Yeocomico Church

The first Yeocomico Church was erected in 1655. It was a frame building. It was replaced on the same site by a brick church in 1706. That colonial church is still in use and services are held each Sunday at 11:00 a.m. It is located near the village of Kinsale in Westmoreland County, Virginia. Oldest Roman Catholic Church in the State of Pennsylvania

I was researching the oldest churches in the state of PA and on one wikipedia page, St. Thomas the Apostle of Ivy Mills PA is stated that is the oldest Roman Catholic Church in the State of PA. There is a source for this on the wikipedia page, and it is additionally verifiable here by scrolling to see the picture of the plaque on this website: http://thomaswillcox.blogspot.com/p/tour-of-ivy-mills-and-st-thomas-apostle.html It says that the church was established in 1739. Oldest Church in Boston

The oldest church congregation within the current city limits of Boston is the First Parish Church of Dorchester. The church established its founding church covenant on March 20, 1630 before leaving England, and was established in America by June 6, 1630. The chart incorrectly lists the First Church of Boston as Boston's first congregation, but it was not established in Boston until July 30, of 1630 or even a bit later. The First Parish Church in Roxbury (now also a part of Boston) was established in 1631/32 but is no longer an active congregation. Its buildings, however, are used by the Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry. The 1804 First Church in Roxbury building is the oldest wood frame church building in Boston.
