typo

edit

There seems to be a typo or a need for clarification, because the years do not match: Wheeling Suspension Bridge 1849–1866 and Queenston-Lewiston Bridge 1851–1866

Cut-off again

edit

Once again the list too long to be maintained (100+ items). It is a time to cut-off again to 700 m or even 750 m to make it updateable. I will try to import existing data to Wikidata to avoid their loss during cut-off.--Jklamo (talk) 15:59, 31 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Cutt-off done, data imported.--Jklamo (talk) 22:57, 8 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Planned and proposed

edit

Planned and proposed section seems to be just a bunch of crystal ball stuff. I think this section could be deleted. --Jklamo (talk) 23:05, 8 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Chadari-Dodhara Bridge of Nepal

edit

Dodhara Chandani Bridge in Kanchanpur district of Nepal is 1452.96 m so it should be also in the list of longest suspension bridge Saurab Mani Rimal (talk) 09:53, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

That is the bridge's overall length. The length of its longest span is 225,4 m. ~2025-31983-94 (talk) 08:10, 7 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

SigillumVert's persistent vandalism to this list

edit

SigillumVert (talk · contribs) has been disrupting this list to make his/her point that dependent territories should not be ordered alongside other countries. He/she has been suggested to go to an appropriate venue to discuss regarding his/her disagreement towards this long established convention but has so far refused to do so. This message serves to record in clearer terms his/her disruptive activities and his/her refusal to advance his/her advocacy at an appropriate venue and is supplementary to the summaries in the edit history. 203.145.94.15 (talk) 13:47, 11 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
