What do you mean by "male sexualization" ? This expression absolutely did not exist at the time of the filming and broadcast of this movie; it seems simpler to me to talk about a male strip club, one must remember the famous Chippendales who were very successful. It is a current trend to use the word 'sexualization': the 80s and 90s did not have this view of things and the motivations of the 'killer' have nothing to do with the current politically correct and its language.
