Surname?
editThe article uses two versions of her surname: Kisialiova and Kiseleva. Why? Is the article correct to use the version that it is? MurielMary (talk) 09:26, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
- It looks like the literal translation of the native name is Karina Kiseleva, but the pronunciation is a bit different, which is why the sources have two different spellings in English script. - The subject should be referred to by their surname. Also, the article title and the name in the first sentence, and the name in the infobox should all be the same (or there should be an explanation in the article about why there are different spellings). - Ah yes, sorry I didn't notice that in your previous comment. There is already a page "Karina Kiseleva" and it is a redirect to "Karyna Kiseleva". I can't remember how to replace the redirect with the article. I can ask around for some help, or feel free to investigate yourself as well if you have time. Karyna Kiseleva → Karina Kiseleva – This is the most common spelling in English language sources about her and there is already an existing page (redirect) "Karina Kiseleva". Zuck28 (talk) 11:13, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
