Bibliography

edit

I have commenced a tidy-up of the Bibliography section using cite templates. Capitalization and punctuation follow standard cataloguing rules in AACR2 and RDA, as much as Wikipedia templates allow it. Feel free to continue. Sunwin1960 (talk) 11:10, 18 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Correct birthday?

edit

Swisher apparently likes to put false birthdays all over the internet, so watch out. I tagged the current birthday in her article (which doesn't seem to have a source) for a citation, and it'd be good to find a reliable source. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 04:45, 29 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

She has stated on Twitter that the day is 12/11. On thecut.com, she stated that she's 56 in November of 2019. I'd reckon that this is good enough until we find conflicting sources. –BriefEdits (talk) 05:36, 29 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Kara's Burn Book

edit

Kara's currently pinned tweet links to her new book: https://www.simonandschuster.com/books/Burn-Book/Kara-Swisher/9781982163891 {tweet says "Coming next Tuesday to a hot bookstore near you!..." and webpage says "February 27, 2024" so presumably in shops starting today} (don't have the energy to correctly add to article) - EarthFurst (talk) 23:31, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

children

edit

Currently the article states "Swisher and Smith adopted two sons, Louis and Alexander." But Burn Book discusses a sperm donor, pregnancy and a C section, for her child "Louie" specifically in chapter 6, so I think the article in incorrect in this respect.
