editI represent the publisher of a language book on the Carib (Galibi) language, "A Carib grammar and dictionary". I would respectfully like to call wikipedia editors attention to the excerpt chapter, "The Carib language" available from our website, in the hopes that you may find it useful in further work on this and related articles.
Also, I would like to note that is my opinion the this article should be merged with Galibi. As best I can tell both articles, appropriately enough, provide information about the same language. But the sidebar suggests that Carib is a subcategory of Galibi. --Magoriabooks (talk) 03:42, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Carib language → Kalina language – The title should be changed from "Carib language" to Kalina language to match the article for Kalina people. "Kalina" is the preferred name of this people and this avoids confusion between the Kalina ("Mainland Carib") and Kalinago ("Island Carib") languages which share a similar name but are not the same language. Support per WP:CONSISTENT as the title of the article about the people is already at Kalina people. --PoliticalPoint (talk) 19:30, 26 April 2026 (UTC)(

- @Kepler-1229b What other possibilities were you imagining? Karina language? Galibi language? Bohemian Baltimore (talk) 17:17, 27 April 2026 (UTC)
- @Bohemian Baltimore Probably some variation of the group's autonym, Kari'nja. 🪐Kepler-1229b | talk | contribs🪐 17:17, 27 April 2026 (UTC)
