Copyright

The article has been tagged as a copyright violation of this page. While it is true that the first version of the article contained copyvio from this source, this doesn't mean the whole article should be deleted. Aside from a small section now removed, all the current contents of the article was not present in that version and was written by other editors, so we have no reason to think it's a copyright violation.

While the presence of copyvio in a load of revisions in the history might be grounds for revision deletion under WP:RD1 the whole page does not qualify for deletion, and I don't think an RD1 deletion is a particularly good idea here given the age of the article, the number of revisions involved, and the small quantity of text.

There is an age and revision limit to prevent deletion? I could find no such rule in the wikipedia policy on copyvio? Wikipedia:Copyright violations. It says if there is no clean version then the article should be deleted.Bedfords (talk) 21:12, 24 August 2017 (UTC)

We don't delete copyright violations if only part of the page is a copyright violation. We just remove the part which violates copyright. You can post on the talk page of Wikipedia:Copyright problems if you want to get further assistance. Hut 8.5 06:30, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
