Norway

edit

Regarding Norway's non-participation in 2026, despite Joakim saying that participation in 2027 and future editions undecided, it was very a national final won't commence for several years, but German Wikipedia labelled as the "near future", while the Polish Eurovision news-related website translated "next few years" to "anytime soon". Guess what? The so-called "near future" and "anytime soon" doesn't mean Norway is never returning to Junior Eurovision. It means NRK has still suspended a planned national final until further notice. That being said, I'm beginning to hate the sources from ESCspot and German Wikipedia. I love foreign languages, including German and Polish, but sources from ESCspot give the wrong translations to Polish.[1] Rebecca A. Leonard (talk) 15:40, 20 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Proposed plan for NRK to reconsider Junior Eurovision national final

edit

In the link below, I proposed a plan to revive Melodi Grand Prix Junior, and Joakim Vedeler said that NRK would take the request into consideration later on. Rebecca A. Leonard (talk) 12:46, 9 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Non-participating countries broadcasting JESC 2026 except for Germany

edit

After I proposed a plan for NRK to launch a selection format for Junior Eurovision 2026, which Joakim Vedeler said NRK would consider at some point, how about the following countries broadcast Junior Eurovision 2026 despite non-participation (except for Germany unless ARD or ZDF take over without KiKa).
