External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on Joyce Ladner. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20061129221052/http://www.dcwatch.com/schools/ps980313d.htm to http://www.dcwatch.com/schools/ps980313d.htm
When you have finished reviewing my changes, you may follow the instructions on the template below to fix any issues with the URLs.

Re: photo
editI think this is an unfair photo of her to use. I've seen other photos that make her look much better. I would prefer not to have a photo than to use a bad photo. Viriditas (talk) 23:50, 23 July 2025 (UTC)
- I see images from 2023 and 1995 that look fine. This photo just has bad lighting and the angle is all wrong. It doesn't even look like her. I think it should be removed. Viriditas (talk) 00:55, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
- I removed it. There are several non-free photos to choose from that look great. Viriditas (talk) 00:57, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
- FWIW, this is an ongoing problem I keep running into on Wikipedia and I've commented on it several times on many different talk pages. If you have the choice between a bad free photo and a good non-free photo, do not choose the bad one. I don't understand why other people can't also agree with this. Why would you ever upload a bad photo of a subject? I don't understand the thinking here. Viriditas (talk) 00:59, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
- Update: As an example of the problem, take a look at the photo of her sister Dorie Ladner. An incredible photo! Viriditas (talk) 23:14, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
