BBC: King Charles coronation logo created by iPhone designer

edit

Re: ce (Revision of 2023-02-17), the reference article does not mention "Ive's firm LoveFrom". While it may be the case that the work was a group effort, the BBC article only mentions Ive. I propose reverting to previous wording until a better source for the claim is found. -- Cl3phact0 (talk) 05:42, 13 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

awards section.

edit

no mention of his Gold Blue Peter badge, YouTube video is really good. He was really chuffed to get it and there's very few that have been awarded. please add it in for completeness. Bob000anderson (talk) 13:13, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Not done. YouTube is not a reliable source. Please provide a reliable source for what you want to be included. GSK (talkedits) 13:29, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
I would think that this BBC source do the trick, no? -- Cl3phact0 (talk) 15:08, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
It would. But it was Bob000anderson (talk · contribs)'s responsibility to provide it, not my responsibility to go looking for it. That's why I initially indicated the edit would not be completed. GSK (talkedits) 17:41, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Collaboration with May-Li Khoe

edit

Good morning,

I’m Riccardo Chiodi, a student at LIUC University. My group and I are currently working on Wikipedia for the Digital Technology course. I kindly ask you not to delete the link-in to your page, as we are working on the May-Li Khoe page, which will hopefully be published soon. The links-in section is also a grading criterion for our exam.

Thank you for your understanding. LIUCRiccardo10 (talk) 10:07, 6 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Which decade?

edit

In the third paragraph, I read "he began designing the decade's PowerBooks and Macs" and wondered which decade is meant – or maybe it should be "decades’ " ? --Geke (talk) 10:41, 28 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Question of citizenship (and averting a pointless ip edit war)

edit

The source that we're using (Jonathan Ive and the Future of Apple | The New Yorker) states that "Ive immigrated to California to join Apple in 1992 and became a U.S. citizen in 2012." Should we identify him as a a British-American designer (in the lead or elsewhere) or not? Not interested in WP:EDITWARing (with an ip editor or anybody else).
