Though not usable in Wikipedia, as it's original research WP:OR, according to FreeBMD, the birth of a John Higson was registered during July→September 1887 in Pontefract district. However, when John Higson was transferred from Featherstone Rovers to Hunslet for the 1905–06 season, he was purportedly aged-21 indicating a 1883 -to- 1885 birth, and his death aged 74 in 1958 indicates a c.1884 birth… which is correct?
