Request to update article with career transition and Newsday article
editHello Wikipedia editors,
I’m Jim Serpico, the subject of this article. I understand Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines and I am not editing the page directly. I’m requesting a factual update based on reliable secondary sources to reflect my recent career shift.
In addition to my background as a television writer and producer, I’ve transitioned into the food industry and founded **Serpico’s Bread Co.**, a Long Island-based mobile pizza and bread company. This transition has been covered in a Newsday article published on June 12, 2024, which I believe qualifies as a reliable source.

A new section or sentence under “Career”:
> In 2020, Serpico shifted his professional focus from television production to artisanal food. He founded Serpico’s Bread Co., a Long Island-based mobile business specializing in naturally leavened breads, Roman-style pizza, and catering. The company and his career transition were profiled in a 2024 [Newsday](https://www.newsday.com/lifestyle/restaurants/serpico-bread-co-pizza-truck-l9maqm68) feature.
Please let me know if I can provide any additional context or citations. Thank you for your time and consideration.
