Israel Bonds Way
edit52nd Street between Lexington and Third Avenue is officially named by the City of New York as “Israel Bonds Way” – a notable item However User:Penn92 is persistently removing the edit saying in edit summaries that it is a “security issue.” The Israelbonds.com site itself gives the address http://www.israelbonds.com/nyregion.html The address is easily found on http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Development+Corporation+for+Israel+New+yOrk,+NY&ie=UTF8&ll=40.768842,-73.971977&spn=0.144308,0.263672&z=12&iwloc=A You can’t remove information just because it mentions the name of Israel. A street name in the U.S. named for an economic activity in another country is notable and should not be censored.Americasroof (talk) 17:28, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
I agree with the above stmt. I have worked there and the security is solid. It is much more secure than the average financial firm. Secondly, the web site has the address listed, so it is no secret. Plus the floor is not listed as it is a large building. The (sad) fact of the matter is, if certain people are motivated (and hateful) enough to do something, they (unfortunately) will. In today's world, the information is easily attainable. This is the good and bad of the world wide web. --24.189.35.249 (talk) 01:08, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
- DCI is on 54th Street between Lexington and Third Avenue, not 52nd Street. I can't find any reference to it being named "Israel Bonds Way" by the City of New York, although that may have been true eight and a half years ago. I will look around a little more for sources, as I am curious now.--FeralOink (talk) 18:45, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

There is no mention here whether Israel Bonds are denominated in US dollars or Israeli Shekels. This is critical info needed for a potential investor! 184.98.114.188 (talk) 02:56, 29 October 2022 (UTC)
- No specific edit requested; marking as addressed. If you have information from a reliable source regarding this question, please go ahead and add it to the article. Best, SpencerT•C 21:49, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
- According to the international website, bonds are denominated in Pounds sterling, US dollars or Euros.
- I don’t know where in the article this should/could be mentioned. Slomo666 (talk) 12:19, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
Old vandalism
editThis page's edit history shows a clear signs of vandalism from user:Marquardtika, spread out over (some might say obfuscated by) many small, rapid fire edits. Large sections of the page have been cumulatively deleted or moved around, including critical context provided by the ICIJ's report. There was even an attempt to include explicit misinformation; i.e. claiming that "nearly 2,000" Israelis were killed on October 7th, which was later reverted, only to immediately be reverted back again. By the time this user was done, the paragraph which had previously been under the "Ethics issues" section was so mangled it seemed to imply that anti-Zionist groups were protesting the investments in response to the October 7th attacks, rather than the military action in Gaza that followed.
I'm going to take the liberty of reverting much of this article to the way it was before all of this. If this isn't an acceptable action, then I apologize and please feel free to revert, but IMO this article cannot remain the way it is right now. GonzoTheGrafted (talk) 05:14, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
- I made a lot of updates to this page and tried to improve WP:NPOV. You can disagree with someone's edits without accusing them of vandalism. That makes it hard to engage in good faith. Marquardtika (talk) 13:31, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
- Apologies if it feels harsh, but I don't accuse you of vandalism because I disagree with your edits, I accuse you of vandalism because I believe you were committing vandalism. I'm open to discussing the edits with you if you want, but again like I said some of them consisted of explicit, provable misinformation. I'm new to the site so I don't have the editing policies quite memorized but I imagine that breaks at least a few of them. GonzoTheGrafted (talk) 14:33, 20 April 2026 (UTC)
- I don't believe this edit is an improvement to the article. Could you explain what you feel is "vandalism" in the current article? Marquardtika (talk) 16:10, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
