Request to restore sourced expanded version and update obsolete information
edit![]() | Part of an edit requested by an editor with a conflict of interest has been implemented. |
I disclose that I have a professional connection with the Instituto Superior de Ciências Policiais e Segurança Interna (ISCPSI).
On 10 May 2026, a substantially expanded and sourced version of this article was added. That version relied on public and verifiable sources, including the Diário da República, DGES, SIPA and official institutional sources. It corrected outdated information, including the current director, the legal status of the institute, its mission, courses and heraldry.
On 17 June 2026, that version was reverted with the edit summary “Rv AI”. I understand the concern, but the article content was based on cited public sources and was not intended as promotional material.
I request that an uninvolved editor review the sourced version at oldid=1353454135 and consider restoring it, either fully or section by section. At minimum, I request that the following outdated information be corrected:
- Replace the obsolete image with File:ISCPSI logo 2026.png.
- Replace “President Superintendente Abílio Pinto Vieira” with the current director, Chief Superintendent Luís Manuel Peça Farinha, supported by Despacho n.º 10152/2023.
- Correct the establishment date and legal background using the cited Diário da República sources.
- Restore the sourced sections on legal status, mission, police officer training, heraldry and director.
Thank you. David Gonçalo Barreiros dos Santos Gomes (talk) 10:21, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
Partly done: The infobox changes are restored. The sections that were removed can be seen in this diff if another editor wants to review Aloneinthewild (talk) 14:33, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
