FYI
editThe sole contributor of the article had used LLM to generate the article, an user proposed deletion of it. I have deprodded it. The older version of the article presented wrong information, mentioned 2 commanders who weren't commanding directly but was a part of a squadron, mentioning bombing at tejgaon with a source citing nothing about it and most importantly, the casualties section was messed up. None of the links were working, the numbers were also somewhat madeup. I have used some good sources to back the article, mentioning some important events such as Tangail drop. There is a similar article like this, Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965. This article should restrain, as I have updated the sources.
P.S. : I have read all the sources myself completely, and then added them. Since I'm a human, I can also make mistakes and I'd appreciate if you point out the mistakes.𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 19:10, 6 June 2025 (UTC)
Aerial losses in 1971 Ind-o-Pak Aerial war
editAccording to CIA reports and various neutral sources, PAF lost 43-75 Aircrafts meanwhile IAF lost 65-71 Aircrafts in the war. Both sides faced huge losses but due to advantage of strategic location India won and Bangladesh came into existence. If someone have any query regarding the article and references, argue here. 103.125.177.162 (talk) 12:28, 23 August 2025 (UTC)
