Hello. I am getting back into GA reviewing after seeing how bad the backlog is. I believe this is your oldest nomination, so I will take this on for review. -Riley1012 (talk) 13:12, 1 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

That's very kind of you; thank you! It's a neat little Austrian competition that will once again be a Challenger Series event this coming fall! Bgsu98 (Talk) 13:28, 1 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Bgsu98: I've completed my review and have a few (minor) notes in the bullet points. -Riley1012 (talk) 14:43, 4 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Good Article review progress box
Criteria: 1a. prose () 1b. MoS () 2a. ref layout () 2b. cites WP:RS () 2c. no WP:OR () 2d. no WP:CV ()
3a. broadness () 3b. focus () 4. neutral () 5. stable () 6a. free or tagged images () 6b. pics relevant ()
Note: this represents where the article stands relative to the Good Article criteria. Criteria marked are unassessed

1. Well-written

  • ...it received official endorsement by the International Skating Union (ISU) and was placed on their international calendar. Minor note, but this should say on its international calendar.
  •  Done
  • The minimum number of entrants required for each discipline are eight skaters... Grammatically should be is eight skaters...
  • I thought about that, except eight skaters each in men's singles and women's singles, five teams in pair skating, and six teams in ice dance is plural.

2. Verifiable
No issues with the reference layout. The official Instagram account of the event can be used to confirm the cancellation of the 2023 event per WP:SOCIALMEDIA.
Source spot check: 2, 4, 7, 13, 22 – All support the information in the article without copyright violations

3. Broad

  • It would be helpful to add context on what Grazer Eislaufverein is (a skating club?)
  • Added a translation to the lead.
  • Since you mentioned it here, could you add details for the upcoming 2026 edition to the History section, notably that it will be a Challenger Series event again?
  • I will add that once the official schedule is released. All I have right now is an unofficial calendar.
  • Is there anything to add about why the competition was not held in 2016 or 2018–20?
  • I have looked and I got nothing.

4. Neutral
I have no concerns on the neutrality of this article.

5. Stable
I have reviewed the edit history and the talk page to confirm there are no ongoing edit wars/content disputes.

6. Illustrated
The logo has a valid non-free use rationale. The images used are tagged with their copyright statuses. The images are relevant since they show the current champions of the event, and the image box has a suitable caption.
