I want to report the misinformation about Ibani/Ubani people of Bonny and Opobo, indigenous Igbo people of Rivers State.
editUbani/Ibani people speak Igbo and practice Igbo culture. They don't have anything to do with the Ijaw people of Bayelsa State. Opobo and Bonny people are of Ndoki extract. These people don't understand Ijaw language, neither do they practice ijaw culture. The ijaw people has been forcing their identity on Ubani people, but has failed woefully. ~2025-31509-35 (talk) 21:30, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
