Hey, this is a great article, well done! I see no major issues and earwig shows no copyright violations. I just have the following suggestions:

1.) If you could include a sentence on how the competitions resumed in 2021

  • While the JGP competitions did return in 2021, Latvia wasn't one of them.

2.) Getting rid of the 2025 section until the competitors/winners are announced

  •  Done

3.) Adding some more History information - e.g. reception, controversies, behind the scenes information, what competitors/organisers thought of the events etc - to make the article more broad. Additionally, more sources would help improve the article to show more secondary sources - it may be worth having a look at archives sources on Newspapers.com

4.) If you could link more of the terms (e.g. "pairs event", "ice dance" etc) to help readers unfamiliar with the subject in the main prose rather than just the lead

  •  Done

5.) Information on the 2011 inauguration would be helpful

  •  Done

6.) Information on qualification - how old competitors have to be, how they are chosen to compete, if there are any other requirements etc

  • That one is an excellent idea!  Done

When the following have been addressed I will do a source spotcheck and hopefully pass this :) Please let me know if you have any questions and/or if you need any assistance! DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 22:27, 31 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
