editPer MOS:CIRC, pages that redirect here should not be linked. 204.111.137.106 (talk) 22:43, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Since the link is not set up as a redirect with possibilities, I agree with your position that "Anita Bejmuk" should not be linked at this time. But you and FlightTime need to cease edit-warring over it. Stefen 𝕋ower's got the power!!1! Gab • Gruntwerk 23:00, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- All I really want is for them to discuss on talk. For some reason some users refuse to discuss on talk at which point the only option is to add in another revert with an explanation in the vain hope they will participate. Given that they have now violated other policies guidelines and procedures I doubt that will ever happen. So it may be we are faced with the trilemma of starting an RFC, which won't resolve for 30 days. Starting an ANI, which is a more rapid resolution but a more acute drain on time, or simply letting FlightTime insert MOS violations into the encyclopedia randomly as they please. None of the options are appealing. 204.111.137.106 (talk) 23:09, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- There is already an ANI open. – LuniZunie ツ(talk) 23:11, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thought it was ANEW. Actually I will need to review the procedures for the circumstances under which dual filings to content and conduct noticeboards are permitted at some point, probably not worth the bother right now but sometimes input on both is needed. 204.111.137.106 (talk) 23:16, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- I think the issue is very minor, so dropping the matter and moving on is the best bet. It is not particularly damaging to the article to keep it linked, although I would expect someone would eventually, quietly, unlink it per guidelines. Stefen 𝕋ower's got the power!!1! - The solution is to fix the redirect Anita Bejmuk to link to a section in this article with some information relevant to the person. She is mentioned in a couple of places and one of them would do, particularly if her surname was used in the second section. That idea could be argued over but it would be good enough. Johnuniq (talk) 00:14, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
- As of now she's mentioned in just a single sentence, so there aren't enough "possibilities" to justify linking. Gawaon (talk) 07:07, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
That Thompson held policy positions or admired organizations or philosophers that suggest a libertarian or socialist view doesn't mean he took on these labels. Please don't categorize as such unless there are reliable sources showing he applied these labels to himself or a consensus from secondary reliable sources exists for such. Cleanup Requested by WikiProject Louisville | |
| WikiProject Louisville has identified Hunter S. Thompson as having an unusually high number of issues, and we could very much use editors' assistance in addressing them. These issues are normally noted by the presence of various cleanup banners and in-line templates as well as the page's placement in hidden categories such as "Articles with unsourced statements...". To see these categories, make sure Show hidden categories is checked in your Preferences. Thank you for your help! |

- I went looking for these but didn't find anything. Am I missing something? I have show hidden categories turned on. ahess247 (talk) 20:25, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
- They are typically categories with years. Also, most of the issues are missing citations (search on "citation needed"). Stefen 𝕋ower Huddle • Handiwerk 20:54, 11 March 2026 (UTC)
