No "Critical reception" section?
editWhy no "critical reception" section for this article? Isn't such a section pretty standard for Wikipedia pages on movies and TV shows?131.179.1.45 (talk) 02:18, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
I added a "critical reception" section and made a start on it by summarizing one positive and one negative review. Not sure what sorts of reviewers/magazines/blogs etc are typically included in such "critical reception" sections for Wikipedia, so please advise. Please add more reviews as you see fit, and improve the "critical reception" section by editing it to move it closer to the typical format and style for similar sections in Wikipedia pages on films and TV shows. Thanks!131.179.1.45 (talk) 02:48, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

Under House of Lies Live, please change "Showtime presented "House of Pies Pive" which featured..." to "Showtime presented "House of Lies Live" which featured...", because the name of the show was House of Lies Live, while House of Pies Pive is what Scott Aukerman calls the show when Ben Schwartz is on Comedy Bang Bang (source: http://comedybangbang.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Recurring_Jokes).

Use of 'Pies'
editSomeone seems to keep changing 'Lies' to 'Pies'.
This is because of Comedy Bang Bang.

- Move #1 to House of Lies (American TV series) per WP:NCTVUS. Support #2 as proposed; majority of the entries at the disambiguation do not contain the definite article the. Thanks, 1isall (talk | contribs) . . (he/him) 15:51, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
- On a side note, the American TV series actually appears to be the overwhelming primary topic by usage. Not sure about significance, though, but if consensus prefers leaving it at the base title, the disambiguation should be moved to House of Lies (disambiguation). Thanks, 1isall (talk | contribs) . . - Oppose As primary topic grab, the American TV series still seems to be primary. The House of Lies should be moved to House of Lies (disambiguation), though. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 18:38, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
- Oppose 1, move 2 to House of Lies (disambiguation). A television series that ran for five seasons is primary ahead of one that literally debuted yesterday. Move dabpage per WP:DABTITLE. 162 etc. (talk) 21:46, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
- Support (but move House of Lies to House of Lies (American TV series) per 1isall). Overall, no primary topic, the dab page shuld reside at the base name. — Amakuru (talk) 15:47, 2 February 2026 (UTC)
- Oppose 1st, Support 2nd. Seems to be the primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 11:48, 6 February 2026 (UTC)
