- additionally the official British history might contain information relevant to what has been claimed to be dubious
- Early era IR and radar missiles did struggle in the head on target environment, I'm not sure this page is a military tactic per say but its a type of engagement that may occur and tactics and doctrine has been developed based on changing technology.
