After seeing a mention at AN/I, I took a look at the changes that have been edit-warred in and that are currently still in place after semi-protection (See WP:WRONGVERSION). A subheader, "Current service" or something like that, has been made into regular text. A huuuuuge table of bus routes has been inserted in that subsection, above the list of ships. I don't think that's relevant in the article on the ferry service, and I think I'm going to remove it and reinstate the presumably erroneously destroyed heading. On the other hand, the list of ships seems only to have been tweaked, so I think I'll leave that alone. But ... the list of ships duplicates in its notes information on their names that also appears in non-tabular form. The non-tabular version looks better to me, including not having URL-style links at the bottom to the relevant Wikipedia articles, and instead using wikilinks on the names concerned. I think the notes, or most of them, ought to be removed. Yngvadottir (talk) 18:40, 2 January 2020 (UTC) ... Hmm. It looks as though the huge table of bus routes and the heading mess-up have been removed already, leaving only the clumsy duplication in the notes about the ship names. Do others agree these are superfluous? Yngvadottir (talk) 18:47, 2 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
- Hi @Yngvadottir: I recently opened a similar discussion on the talk page for Halifax Transit. This IP-hopping user has been adding strange hoax-like information to the Halifax Transit page for at least the past year, and seems to have come here after that page was protected. Regarding the ferry info – I agree that the notes should be trimmed and the information incorporated into the article body, as in older revisions. Ben MacLeod (talk) 00:59, 6 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
