Requested move 5 November 2025
edit- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: not moved. I see consensus in the discussion that the WP:COMMONNAME of the manga is Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern. (closed by non-admin page mover) ModernDayTrilobite (talk • contribs) 19:31, 13 November 2025 (UTC)
Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern → Smart-san – The English title is lifted from the movie title. Also, official english title per Nippon Animation. VenezuelanSpongeBobFan2004 (talk) 01:44, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
- The English title is lifted from the movie that has the title Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern (film)? — BarrelProof (talk) 03:22, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
- Comment: Yes, yes it is.. VenezuelanSpongeBobFan2004 (talk) 10:36, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you, Phineas. Why don't I see any mention of "Smart-san" in that other article? — BarrelProof (talk) 12:22, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
- because they normally use the romanized Japanese name and only nippon's site has an English name VenezuelanSpongeBobFan2004 (talk) 15:21, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
- You don't seem to be making a very strong case for your own proposal. If only Nippon's site has "Smart-san" and everyone tends to call it Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern, maybe we shouldn't use Smart-san. — BarrelProof (talk) 17:09, 5 November 2025 (UTC)

- The page you linked said that the anime is called "SMART-SAN", but refers to the manga as "Haikara-San: Here Comes Miss Modern". This article is about both the manga and the anime. jlwoodwa (talk) 23:45, 12 November 2025 (UTC)
