editThe article now cites multiple reliable, independent, editorially controlled secondary sources, including The Wall Street Journal, Ars Technica, Barron’s, HPCwire, Constellation Research, and Silicon Angle. These are not press releases or churnalism and are routinely accepted sources on Wikipedia.
Under WP:GNG, independent secondary journalism is sufficient to establish notability for a programming language; independent academic research is not required. Academic papers are cited only for technical description, not for notability.
