Fair use rationale for Image:Logo cambs.gif

Image:Logo cambs.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Why does "Logotron" redirect here?

The original company was called "Logotron". The name was sold to another company and they took a word from their strap line, which was "Masterworks for the Millennium", as the new company name - "Millennium Interactive". This was also the point that they realised that they had spelt millennium incorrectly on their box art since they had started using it on their Logotron boxes. There is surprisingly little information available in reliable sources. Regardless, SCE Cambridge Studio was created as a new company with former staff from MI. The actual MI, as CyberLife, existed parallelly for a bit before closing. IceWelder [✉] 09:13, 13 November 2020 (UTC)

Reason for closure

In the final paragraph of "History" it says that the studio closed "as a result of a regulatory review process within [Sony]", citing a Eurogamer article. However, that article quotes Sony as saying "Within [Sony], we have a regular process of review in order to consider projects coming to completion and the deployment of resources"

A regulatory review would be one by or at the behest of a government regulator, whereas a regular review would be one conducted e.g. annually. I assume it's supposed to be the latter, per the Sony quote in the Eurogamer article. DDFoster96 (talk) 17:17, 9 May 2023 (UTC)

CyberLife Technology, Creature Labs and Gameware Development

For some reason based on the information I found from the Creatures Wiki, even though CyberLife Technology, Creature Labs and Gameware Development were all based in Cambridge, there are some little to moderate information about those companies that were all responsible for the Creatures series, the 2002 PC port of Silent Hill 2 and numerous other games Creature Labs worked on. Please restore information on Milennium

The article Milennium Interactive redirects to this, its corporate successor, but information previously contained in the Milennium Interactive has been lost from the article. Can someone restore this information? ~2025-33305-98 (talk) 06:59, 13 November 2025 (UTC)

It seems odd that Millennium's history is currently omitted from Wikipedia. If it is considered the same company as Guerilla Cambridge, then the latter article should start with the history of Millennium. If not, the article on Millennium should stand alone, assuming independent noteworthiness, which I suspect it has due to mentions of its numerous games in the gaming press. They're not the same company, so it's correct that the article does not appear to purport them to be. For the notability of a standalone article, the topic would have to adhere to the notability guidelines, which is specifically considered to exclude inherited notability, i.e. from games the company made.
