monarchist bent
editThis article seems to exaggerate the importance of the Queen, who merely signs the appointment of the GG, which the PM selects. It seems to give the idea that she has real power that she delegates only because she's physically to distant to carry out functions. --Rob (talk) 16:21, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

Doris Sands Johnson
editDoris Sands Johnson was included in this article's list of Governors-General, as acting Governor-General. No source was cited for this clam. I have been unable to find any evidence for it. On the contrary, she does not appear on the official lists of Governors-General from the Government of The Bahamas. Previous Governors-General , Former Governors-General | Office of the Governor-General. I note that in the first list I linked, Paul Adderley is mentioned, who also only served as Acting Governor-General.
I will remove Johnson from the list. Rollmeoverintheclover (talk) 08:18, 28 March 2026 (UTC)
