I do believe having individual articles for each Umamusume:PD character is not notable enough (WP:N). As per WP:NCHAR, the article does not give an interesting enough view of the character for people outside of the franchise. There are multiple issues too as how the sources are interpreted, specially with the character's said popularity. Source 28 speaks about the IRL horse popularity, not her game counterpart. Source 29 just lists them as an example of characters "[the fandom are] expressing love for [them]".
I think this article should be deleted and the character itself should be further detailed in List of Umamusume: Pretty Derby characters instead. ToSeeTheNextPartOfIt (talk) 21:49, 21 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Removed the template, as 1) as the author, I have never played the game, and 2) your only specific objections seem to be two sources that have since been removed. As far as notability is concerned, the following sources center around the character and provide WP:SIGCOV: Further, this source demonstrates her real-world impact as the second-most searched term of 2021 in Japan, while this source states that she was awarded best character of the year in Famitsu/Dengeki's annual game of the year award. This is in addition to a number of sources that use the fictional Gold Ship as a vehicle to discuss the real-life Gold Ship. Cukie Gherkin (talk) 22:07, 21 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
