Currently the article refers to Simon Girty as a "famous renegade". I wouldn't refer to him as a "famous Canadian patriot", so I request American contributors tone it down as well.

I'm assuming that the article title lacks an apostrophe because that's how USGIS has the name catalogued; likewise Google Maps has it without the apostrophe. A quick search of the Post-Gazette catalog from 1990 to present seems like a 60–40 split in favor of keeping the apostrophe. My proposal, unless anyone disagrees, is to rename the article Girty's Run and in the lede write Girty's Run (or Girtys Run), and keep the more natural English apostrophe form throughout the article as it is currently.
