Geoffrey Sampson's article on his bio
editA lot of fair criticism from Sampson in the above. It'll take a bit of work to get this article up to speed. Sampson's written a good deal of pretty technical stuff over the course of a long and fruitful academic career. I'll see what I can do by way of producing something actually in line with standards for good biography. It'll have to wait a month while I do some academic work myself.
It is somewhat providential that I've discovered this article just as Wikipedia is discussing tightening up the way it deals with biographies of living people. I hope changed policy and a better article here will demonstrate that Wiki evolves rather than going nowhere, going in circles or devolving. Alastair Haines (talk) 11:11, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
