Possible typo / thinko

I found this article interesting and well written, although there is one sentence that I did not understand.

The original light characteristic consisted of six or seven flashes of white light within sixteen seconds every minute.

Is it possible that the writer intended to end the sentence after "sixteen seconds" or does this mean that one cycle of six or seven flashes lasting sixteen seconds occurred once per minute (and it was either dark or not flashing for the other 44 seconds)? Of course, this is not a big issue. I only mention it in case someone who knows more about this lighthouse than I do wishes to clarify it. ~2025-33303-17 (talk) 15:55, 13 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
