I am not a scientist, but I happen to have this disease, which has led me to learn more than I ever wanted to know about it. I actually came here looking for a piece of technical information and was dismayed to see that a few things here are "off." I do not know who wrote this article or if someone else will come along and edit it soon? But if no one else is working on it, I may endeavor to fix a few little things.
