Improvements
editHello all,
I believe the article on Fritz Grünbaum could be improved significantly and I intend to begin working on this in the coming weeks. While the article currently provides useful information, it lacks depth and balance in several areas. Some key points for improvement are:
- Persecution under the Nazis – The article should more clearly trace his arrest, imprisonment, and eventual death in Dachau, situating his fate within the broader context of Nazi persecution of Jewish artists.
- Art collection and restitution disputes – This section in particular should be expanded significantly and restructured. There is a great deal of material that could be added about the seizure of Grünbaum’s collection, the post-war history of the works, and the numerous restitution disputes and court cases that have arisen. Presently, this complex history is treated too briefly.
I’ll get started on research and drafting shortly, and welcome input from other editors who may be interested in collaborating on this. CircusDirectorLawyer (talk) 15:05, 22 August 2025 (UTC)
