- That {{advert}} tag had been around for a long time. I doubt it ever did sound like an advert. However, that doesn't mean the article is good. It really could do with references and some cleanup to bring it more into line with other Wikipedia article. Take a look at the other Fender article (listed in the box at the end of the article) to see how it is done. Astronaut (talk) 23:28, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
12/24 revert
editToday I reverted an edit that was intentioned but at the same time, un-sourced, editor opinion which was also off the topic. I am happy to discuss the edit here if anyone so desires. Thanks and Happy Holidays!-- — Kbob • Talk • 21:12, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
The Febder Elite og 1983 has 6 Db boost
editThe Fender Elite of 1983 had 6 Db boost but still 3 Db boodt more than any Humbucker guitar that usually have about 3 decibels nore than a Single coil guitar. The active cuircuit is completely different than the Clspton signature Stratocaster with vintage Noiceless stacked Humbuckers. The Clapton signature Stratocaster with Vintage Noiceless stacked Humbuckers has 100 Db boodt according to professional studios and 93 Db boost without the mid boost which means its 1024 times louder than a real Stratocaster with the mid boodt and 850 times louder than a real Stratocaster without the mid boost. Its got a non linear active cuircuit which means it does not follow ohms law and you can get as msBy volts out of it as possible. With 4 caccaded transistors 2 in a differential pair and 14 collectors to save the volts that the transistors worked up it has an output of 15 000 volts. However as it has 100 Micro amper in the non linear active cuircuit its not dangerous at all to the amp. It also had 19 perfectly put resistors for the absolute most output possible. The coils in the Vintage Noiceless stacked Humbuckers helps too. The collectors releases the 15 000 volts. You Will only notice it on the Clean channel however as it has to gigh out put to enter the distorted chsnnrl where the distorted channel lowers if yo the volume of a normal guitar. But the the non linear active cuircuit makes it have distortion like 5 distortion pedals in line and you get the easily fattest tone you ever hest from a guitar. Inperdibskky tjink it has more than 100 Db boost. I had my Clapton signature Stratocaster with Vintsge noicrkess Stacked Humbuckers at master volume 1 out of 10 and got 136,4 decibels out of it. My normal Stratocaster and my Gibson les Paul could not even get close to 20 decibels. Do The Clspton signature Stratocaster seems to be about 120 decibels louder than a normal Stratocaster and a Gibson Les Paul. ~2026-13077-78 (talk) 05:15, 1 March 2026 (UTC)
