Oppose I agree that a merge would be beneficial, but I would rather it go toward moderation system or some such. Unfortunately for this proposal, Moderation system is currently defined in that article as screening out negative content, not a general purpose rating system. Sometimes likes are used for trust metrics or as part of a recommender system. I wouldn't mind seeing Like button split among these, but really, we need to find good sources and follow those.
