Resign or be fired
editUser:ElijahPepe, this edit replaces two good footnotes with another footnote that fails to support the sentence in question, correct? Here’s the BEFORE version:
According to the Associated Press, Siebert was told to resign or be fired.[1][2]
[1]Asiedu, Kwasi. “US prosecutor resigns after Trump says 'I want him out'”, BBC (20 Sep 2025).
[2]Richer, Alanna and Tucker, Eric. “US attorney whose office is investigating Letitia James is told he’s being removed, AP source says”, Associated Press via Minnesota Star Tribune (19 Sep 2025).
You deleted those two footnotes and inserted this one:
"U.S. attorney resigns under pressure from Trump to charge N.Y. AG Letitia James". NPR. September 20, 2025. Retrieved October 2, 2025.
