New content
editI'm trying out a new format for this article where all important topics are mentioned. It needs work. If anyone feels like this article should focus on other things, feel free to edit. I'd like to think that this is the best place to describe those topics not classified in higher mathematical areas such as algebra and topology. Brirush (talk) 12:33, 23 October 2014 (UTC)

Currently organized according to Ontario only?
editThe article as currently written seems to organize the subjects of elementary mathematics specifically in the way they are organized in the curriculum in the province of Ontario in Canada. That seems wrong -- a particular province or country's way of organizing things should be placed in its own geographic category like there is for the United States. 2607:FEA8:8540:1D:CC3F:E27C:2673:F9D0 (talk) 01:00, 10 May 2020 (UTC)

Elementary mathematics → Grade school mathematics – The term elementary is subjective, and also refers to primary school in the U.S, and the article talks about grade school math anyways. OmegaAOLtalk? 06:02, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose. Where does the article mention grade school? YorkshireExpat (talk) 12:43, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose. There is an overlap between "Grade School mathematics" and "Elementry Mathematics" but they are not the same. Rick Norwood (talk) 15:54, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
