As a specialized-category valley, being endorheic and adjacent to the Colorado River by way of the Eldorado Mountains on its east,-(and a Great Basin watershed), as well as Lake Mead, adjacent, and northeast, the importance is probably something other than "Low"... I'm going to change it to "MID" importance. I believe it is also, a small recreation area... And they are considering the Solar Development, ... and if one has driven the route, then it is obvious that in the Northwest, a truck route is harvesting "construction gravel", or whatever from the areas in the northwest-(and I mean as in "TRAIN-loads"....it may have ceased by now, only as HISTORY). In other words, there are things happening over there. ((P.S. I had to add the valley to the ....List of Great Basin watersheds, a minor watershed, endorheic though it is. If you read the Piute Wash..Piute Valley, there is the 4-valley, 4-mountain range water divide point in the southwest corner, at the south of the McCullough Range; that alone takes it to a MID-level ranking.))...(the Article is barely beyond a STUB level with things to be discussed in the article) (from the HOTdesertSonoran, ArizonaUSA)... ..Mmcannis (talk) 12:07, 23 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
